Every year at Wentworth we celebrate the festive season by recording a series of Christmas songs and 2024 has been our best year yet! We know the value that music-making as a group can bring and we have certainly seen the very best in our children whilst they were learning and performing their songs. Each year group came together to learn a different Christmas song and for weeks our corridors were filled with the most wonderful vocal sounds.

 

On the day of the recording, children came together as year groups in our music studio and acted just like professional recording artists as they took part in a sound check before recording their song 'live'. Every year group has produced a song to be proud of and I think you will agree that the progression in our children's voices as they go through the years is quite remarkable. I am sure you will be as thrilled as we are with all the finished recordings - they are a testament to our commitment to singing and music at Wentworth. Happy listening!
