Curriculum

Wentworth School Intent Statement

Full version

At Wentworth we have developed a curriculum that is ambitious and designed to give all learners the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life.

We focus on delivering our curriculum in a creative and experiential way, utilising technology to stimulate engagement.

Please read our statements below. One provides the synopsis of our intent while the main document provides the detail.

You will also view the ambition for our ‘Wentworth Pupil’ who as a result of our curriculum, our culture and our ethos will be ‘Achieving Happily.’

Information on our English and Maths curriculum can be found on the subject pages (click below).  Children's learning of the foundation subjects is organised into termly themes.  Click on each topic to find out which skills children will be developing and some possible activities.
