We’ve spent the day asking children for quotes about their time at PGL. There wasn’t the time to speak to all children as it’s been another busy day, but we can safely say they have enjoyed their time!

Harper - “The best week of my life “

Scarlett O - “I was scared doing some of the activities but I’ve given them all a go and feel really proud of myself”

Ruby - “It’s the best experience, the activities test your bravery but they’re so fun”

Alfie - “Im looking forward to the climbing wall - it looks really high! I just like being with my friends as well.”

Terry - “It was good and cool with exciting activities.”

Tommy - “My favourite activity was all aboard because it’s fun when you get to dangle and stand in top of it.”

Niraj - “Harrison inspired me on Jacob’s ladder by going all the way up to number 6 on his own!

Darcy -“ exciting and I love that there were so many different activities and new skills i learnt and they have great food”

Jayden “ I conquered my fears and challenges you learn in different ways which I loved - also the food is really good I would definitely recommend”

Khyl - “ I found it better than I thought in terms of food and how much fun I had with my friends “

Ruby - “I’ve learned that I am not scared of heights, I wasn’t sure if I was before! Everything here has tested my bravery.”

Ginny - “I’ve learned that if I have a positive mindset, I can do it - even on some of the harder activities like Jacob’s ladder or trapeze.”

Maneth - “I’ve learned to never judge a book by its cover - anyone can achieve at PGL.”

Darcy - I have learnt loads of different skills, especially how to make a camp fire! I like how we got use to our surroundings, and get to do our own thing as well as having lots of adults around us.

Scarlett - “The rooms are amazing as you get to spend lots of time with friends and even on a cold night you are warm.”

Kane - “I like the idea that the groups are randomised so you get to make new friends but you have the opportunity to see your normal friends as well.”

Oliver - “PGL is good to get closer with friends and to learn and do more things like how to abseil.”

Evangeline - “You get to move around a lot - you walk between activities and the staff teach you different songs. My legs are still ok though!”
