Uniform Information
All children are encouraged to wear the school uniform. It enhances the feeling of belonging to the school family. We have endeavoured to offer a wide choice of uniform and have listed the school expectations below. Pre-loved uniform sales are arranged throughout the school year. Please discuss any necessary adaptations to the school policy with the headteacher.
Jewellery:
Watches and small stud earrings only
Hair:
Hair styles to be neat and tidy.
Minimal and discreet accessories in neutral or navy
Other:
No nail varnish / make-up / unnatural hair dyes.
Please ensure children's nails are kept short to prevent any accidents.
Uniform List
White, navy or sky blue polo shirt or white or sky blue shirt / blouse (Polo shirts do not need to have the Wentworth Logo)
Grey tailored trousers or shorts / Grey or navy skirt, culottes, pinafore or tailored trousers
Navy or sky blue checked summer dress
Navy sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan
Plain grey or black socks / White, navy or grey socks or tights
Sensible black shoes or trainers with flat soles (please avoid large coloured markings from brands)
No heels or bright / extra long laces.
Ankle boots are permitted in winter. White summer sandals are allowed for warmer months (please make sure these are suitable for playground use)
No jelly shoes.
Reception and Year 1- We encourage a house coloured book bag or Wentworth Satchel available from MAPAC to keep reading books and letters secure.
From year 2 onwards we encourage a school bag big enough to hold lunch / snacks books etc.
P.E. Uniform Information
KS1
House coloured tee-shirt (Does not need Wentworth Logo)
White or black sports shorts
Black plimsolls or plain black or white trainers with Velcro fastening if laces cannot be tied independently
White sports socks
Plain navy / black tracksuit for outdoor P.E. in colder weather
KS2
House coloured tee-shirt (Does not need the Wentworth Logo)
White or black sports shorts
Plain black or white trainers
White sports socks
Plain navy / black tracksuit for outdoor P.E. in colder weather. House coloured sweatshirts can be purchased for KS2 through the school office
Jewellery must be removed before P.E. lessons. If stud earrings cannot be removed micropore tape must be provided to cover earrings
